General Terms and Conditions
Right of Return for Book Purchases
Returns are possible within 14 days, in original condition and packaging, at your own expense. Refunds will be issued after receipt.
Cancellation of Online Programs / Webinars
Registration is final after payment.
Cancellation via email is possible.
Up to 4 weeks in advance: free of charge.
2–4 weeks in advance: 50% cancellation fee.
Less than 2 weeks: 100% cancellation fee.
Replacement by another participant is allowed if registered in advance.
HR-Companion BV may cancel a program itself; in that case, the registration fee will be refunded.
Consultancy and Interim Assignments
Art. 1: Definitions
HR-Companion BV carries out assignments in Consultancy, Interim and Project Management, Coaching, Counseling, Training, Recruitment, and Selection. The client is the party that enters into the agreement.
Art. 2: Applicability
Applies to all offers and agreements, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Acceptance of an offer counts as agreement.
Art. 3: Formation of Agreement
An assignment is established upon signing of an offer or confirmation of assignment, including description, approach, duration, fee, and additional costs. Changes only valid if agreed in writing.
Art. 4: Execution of Agreement
HR-Companion BV will make every effort to execute properly. The client provides necessary information. HR-Companion may, in consultation, outsource work. Progress is reported.
Art. 5: Intellectual Property
Models, techniques, and instruments remain property of HR-Companion BV. Publication only with permission.
Art. 6: Confidentiality
Information obtained is treated confidentially. Sharing information or reports with third parties only with written consent.
Art. 7: Liability
No guarantees on the results of advice. Liability only in case of serious shortcomings and limited to the fee amount, for long assignments limited to the last six months.
Art. 8: Payment
Invoices are sent monthly. Payment within 30 days. Late payment: interest and collection costs (15% with a minimum of €130). Objections must be reported within 7 days of invoice date.
Art. 9: Cancellation
Cancellation only possible with consent. A fee of 20% of the offer applies, plus costs of work already performed. Paid amounts are not refunded.
Art. 10: Termination / Early Ending
Termination possible in writing with 2 weeks’ notice. In case of force majeure or fundamental disagreement, HR-Companion may stop immediately. Payment for work already done remains due.
Art. 11: Non-competition
Both parties will not enter into employment or other relations with each other’s staff or subcontractors during the agreement and for six months thereafter, unless otherwise agreed.
Art. 12: Governing Law / Jurisdiction
All activities and agreements are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court.
